This is a pen sketch of Himeji Castle located in Japan. Dating back to 1333, it is one of the oldest castle in Japan. Though there are many modern buildings that I would like to visit, for example the Guggenheim and the Pompidou, I want to visit the Himeji Castle because it is considered by many to be a forgotten wonder of the world. Not only was it built in a time without 3D rendering softwares, it has stood through history, remaining intact through World War 2 and the Hanshin Earthquake.
