These geometric compositions were inspired by Escher's work, for instance the Cube and the Cubic Space Division. While looking at Construction and Destruction, I became interested in the lines and patterns that are created as a result. Therefore, I placed a viewfinder on my sculptures and using graphite, I simplified the image to lines and simple tones.
